Yesterday we drove our beauty to Zagreb for her surgery... It turned out that her leg is in a worse state then what the vets here told us. So the surgery will be hard and take a long time... The vet here, Zarko, was surprised because she is capable to cope with all the pain and he didn`t realize that the fracture was this complicated... He has operated on dogs with this complicated fractures 3 times before. Dear friends, we are dealing with an incredible dog... After the surgery, she will have to stay at the clinic for two weeks because, as vet Zarco explained, the postoperative care after such an operation is critical. She will be on strong antibiotics and the bandages will have to be changed daily. Besides all of the problems with her leg, she also has DEMODEX. She will also be treated for this in Zagreb. In total we have collected 1150e for her. From this amount we`ve paid a deposit for the operation on 600e, 50e for food, 200e has been spent on fuel and transportation, 70e for the car and 111 for treatment. From the total amount there are only 119e left, but she is going to need much more...
